Released from the sanatorium after a tour of duty in Afghanistan, Sergeant Krists Lapins moves to a run-down apartment in Riga looking to continue his alternative therapy. But his high hopes for a new and rehabilitated life are quickly destroyed one night when he receives an unexpected visitor. Soon enough he finds a startled blonde screaming in his bathroom, a wannabe private detective on his tail and a bankrupt millionaire violently accusing him of having an affair with his wife. This rich dramedy of errors wittily portrays modern Latvian society in an absurd light.
The film features actors from an internationally acclaimed theatre - The New Theatre of Riga. The plot is based on a play written by Gatis Šmits and staged in the same theatre.
